New hot mat studio open at The Parks

The Parks Recreation and Sports Centre has launched Adelaide's first hot mat studio in the north-western suburbs.

The Hot Method brings infrared-heated classes to The Parks, managed by YMCA South Australia, filling a gap in the local fitness market where no hot mat studios currently operate.

The new studio features infrared heating panels, neon lighting, and brand new equipment including mats, dumbbells, yoga blocks and resistance bands.

Classes run six days per week across morning and evening sessions, with various classes on offer:

· Hot mat Pilates – Core strength, flowing sequences to build strength and tone in heated conditions

· Hot mat strength – Resistance training with weights and bands, enhanced by heat for muscle engagement

· Hot mat yoga – Traditional yoga flows with infrared heat to deepen stretches and improve mobility

"We're excited to bring this health and wellbeing trend to the north-west," said Leeann Ksiezak, Centre Manager at The Parks Recreation and Sports Centre. "Hot mat classes are gaining serious momentum across the country, and our community now has access to this style of training without travelling across the city. We're committed to offering diverse ways for people to engage with their fitness goals."

The studio offers flexible class packs for different commitment levels. An introductory offer of 4 classes for $48 is available to get started.
